From The Bay to Broadway
Taylor is originally from Fairfield, California, where she grew up playing piano, doing youth musicals, and marching in her school bands. After several years of performing and teaching with numerous regional and professional theaters across the Bay Area, Taylor moved to New York City in 2016. Shortly after that, Taylor made her Broadway debut in Groundhog Day the Musical. She recently completed a year long run as Katherine Parr in SIX, and you can hear Taylor sing "Vacation" on the original cast album of Head over Heels where she made her principle debut as Mopsa. Before that, Taylor played Extraordinary Girl in the final national tour of American Idiot, and after the pandemic was seen as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds on tour with Hamilton. Taylor has also appeared off-Broadway in MCC’s The Lonely Few, Roundabout’s Scotland, PA, and The Jonathon Larson Project. Outside of New York they've been seen many other productions including The Who’s Tommy at The Kennedy Center’s, Andy Sachs in the world premier of The Devil Wears Prada, and Meg Murray in Arena Stage's A Wrinkle in Time.
Whether its a winery in Napa, a fundraiser in Connecticut, or a cabaret in NYC Taylor has been known to capture the hearts of audiences from coast to coast with her solo concerts that feature a selection of songs from Broadway classics, today's pop hits, and her own originals.
